For a moisture-free construction pit, soil retaining walls should also be provided, by means of a sheet pile wall, a Cutter Soil Mix (CSM) wall or a pile wall. After placement of the wall, injection hoses are placed perpendicular to the ground after calculation. These hoses are connected to pumps that pump the mixture into the ground under low pressure. The liquid becomes a sphere, which replaces the groundwater.
After about seven days, the spheres overlap and harden. This gel layer provides water retention, keeping the construction pit dry.
Vertical soil injection is also called constructive soil injection. This specific technique is used to improve the strength properties of soil and has the great advantage that it can be applied under a plot adjacent to a construction pit. Before injection is started, injection lances are inserted according to a predetermined pattern by injecting water, drilling or boring.
During injection of the water-glass-hardener mixture, pressure, flow rate and the total amount injected per injection point are automatically controlled and recorded.
In addition to vertical soil injection, of course, we also provide horizontal soil injection.
